A visit to The Red Hook Winery

Sometimes it is nice to leave this behind for a bit.

And head for something more like this.

Which turns out to be not so far away.

During my trip there was a look around.

There was some local color.

A bit of time to meet the employees.

Who in general are some interesting cats.

Even on their days off.

And there was a chance to try some wine.

To hear more about how they are made.

And how they are shipped.

My notes didn't always capture the unique tone of the place.

But I did get a closeup.
